CBLVCAT is available for IBM Mainframe MVS, VSE & VM platforms.

For each supported system, the latest release of the CBLVCAT product may be downloaded from this web page. Note that CBL software is password protected based on an operational date range and a unique company name/location string. Please contact CBL for product passwords or to arrange a free product trial.

CBLVCAT on mainframe systems is installed as part of the combined CBL products installation bundle which includes SELCOPY/i, the interactive environment for SELCOPY and CBLVCAT, and also SELCOPY.

Prior to install of CBLVCAT, please read the README text file, CBLVCAT 2.12 New Features and CBL products Installation Guides for MVS, VM/CMS and/or VSE as appropriate.

The software products included in the following CBL product bundles are base (un-zapped) versions only.
Please refer to the relevant Technical Support web pages for all published maintenance fixes that should be applied to the bundled products (SELCOPY, CBLVCAT and SELCOPY/i.)

In addition to the full product install bundles above, the following SELCOPY/i 1.80 upgrade bundle exists for users simply upgrading SELCOPY/i (previously branded CBLi) from release 1.4x or higher on a z/OS system (i.e. excludes SELCOPY and CBLVCAT install). Please refer to the SELCOPY/i 1.80 New Features for the latest enhancements to SELCOPY/i.
