DB2 features
  • Related Table Edit for parent/foreign key constraints.
  • Browse of Result Table via SQL query.
  • CREATE INDEX and list DB2 PACKAGES panels.
  • Compare DB2 result tables. (COMPFILE/COMPTABLE)
  • EXECSQL panel for interactive execution of SQL.
  • Remote table (location field) support.


XMLGEN
  • XML generation from DB2 table rows.
  • Introduce utility panel.


Data Edit
  • Automatic association of copybook mappings with data files.
  • Sort in-storage records or DB2 table rows.
  • DB2 row selection (WHERE clause) panel.


Text Edit
  • Support undefined format (RECFM=U) datasets.


Lists
  • SMS storage groups.
  • SMS storage group volumes.


CSVGEN
  • Generate CSV output from formatted (structured) data.


SDEMAIN (SELCOPYi SDE batch) processing
  • Data Edit REXX macros supported.


SELCOPY Debug
  • Input JCL jobstream. Execute all or selected job steps with optional SELCOPY debug.

SELCOPY:

SELCOPY is the original Assembler version of the batch product.

All known fixes have been applied.




SLC:

SLC is the C++ version of the batch SELCOPY product, which has many advantages over the original Assembler version. SLC runs in 31-bit mode and interfaces with SELCOPYi for its LIST information (Volume, Files, Members, etc).
