CBL are pleased to announce General Availabilty of the following new software releases for IBM mainframe MVS, VSE and CMS platforms:

• SELCOPY 2.02
• CBLVCAT 2.12

Please note that maintenance support for the following releases will end on 2007/09/30:

• SELCOPY 2.00 and 2.01
• CBLVCAT 2.10 and 2.11

Changes and features introduced in the new product releases may be found in the SELCOPY 2.02 New Features and CBLVCAT 2.12 New Features documents.

Existing users of SELCOPY 2.00 should also read the SELCOPY 2.01 New Features document to review important changes between those two SELCOPY releases.

The new releases of SELCOPY and CBLVCAT are installed via a single CBL product bundle, one for each IBM operating system. These may be downloaded from either of the SELCOPY downloads or CBLVCAT downloads pages.

A New Dimension

In addition to well trusted, fast and powerful batch capabilities, both SELCOPY 2.02 and CBLVCAT 2.12 include exciting new interactive facilities via the CBL Interactive environment (CBLi 1.40).

Integral to both the SELCOPY and CBLVCAT products and installed automatically as part of the unified install procedure, CBLi provides a unique working environment that increases general user productivity. It includes a highly functional set of tools and also acts as a vehicle for interactive execution of both SELCOPY and CBLVCAT.
